The Acts of The Apostles is a dark retelling of little understood chain of events in the Middle East circa...well...30AD which starts just after the Ascension of Jesus and 'faithfully' chronicles the travels and challenges of the Apostles (without that traitor, Judas) in venturing forth to set up the church of Christianity. Initially they encounter great resistance. And so what if a couple of them are martyred prematurely - it can only stand to help the cause. What do you think? The bible just keeps on giving regarding funny stories.
